Does your toddler just love those adorable characters on the Moomin Baby packaging? We get it! We’re also completely in love with these Finnish “Moomins.” That’s why you can now get these super soft cuddly toys alongside the diapers.
What is a ‘Moomin’?
The Moomins were created by Finnish artist Tove Jansson. And believe it or not, these fluffy fantasy creatures are truly world-famous in Finland. There are several amusement parks, a huge playground, and even a Moomin museum.
Jansson’s stories are based on her childhood in beautiful Finland. They have captured the hearts of Finns in various books, comics, and TV series.
What are the Moomins actually called?
The Moomins are a large family of trolls from the Moominvalley.
From left to right: Sniff, Snufkin, Moominpappa, Moominmamma, Moomintroll, Mymble’s daughter, Groke, Snork Maiden, and Hattifatteners. On the Moomin Baby packaging and with this plush toy, you’ll meet the tough main character: Moomintroll, also known as “Moomin.”
